Join us between Tuesday 12th – Friday 15th February, 10am – 5pm daily. Step back to the 1940s and enjoy some time-travelling historical crafts, games and activities! Discover what life was like during Wartime - from evacuees to Bevin Boys, rationing to air raid warnings, digging for Victory, to the Home Guard. There will be plenty of hands-on activities for families - from trying on gas masks to packing an evacuee’s suitcase and playing with some 1940s toys. Find out how much food was in the weekly rations – or why not practice the “new” dance introduced by American soldiers based in Caerphilly - the Jitterbug!
Admission is FREE and our historic winding engine will run on Friday 15th February at 12pm & 3pm.
