Little Cefn Smokehouse, producers of award winning smoked meat, poultry, game, home-made jams, marmalades and chutneys, honey from their own bees, free-range hen, goose and bantam eggs, spray free salads, tomatoes and spinach.

Which have been awarded the prestigious and coveted title of Regional Producer of the Year (Mid-Wales) 2007/2008 at this year's The True Taste of Wales Food and Drinks Awards, held in Cardiff on 15 November 2007.

At the Awards ceremony, Mary Gray was presented with the Winners’ Award and was delighted with her win particularly as this year's entry of more than 250 companies, with over 700 products, was the highest since the awards began six years ago. ‘As a small producer’, she said, ‘we take great pride in ensuring that our products are of the highest quality possible’. In addition to her major award, she received Judges’ Commendations for her Pink Grapefruit Marmalade and Plum Jam.

Mary and her husband, Peter, can be seen at the regular Farmers' Markets at Bishops Castle, Craven Arms, Knighton, Ludlow, Presteigne and Welshpool, together with Food Fairs in the local area throughout the year.
