Betws y Coed offers an interesting variety of shops, unique to have so many shops in such a small village.

Our shop reflects a changing conscience. Many of our gifts are sourced from Fair Trade suppliers and are made from natural/recycled/reused materials.

We are into re-using and are constantly amazed at the creative minds of people from all over the world whom make the most eclectic range of gifts from recycled materials. We try to stock as many as possible for example;

Tablemats, coasters, bowls, bags and jewellery all made from recycled newspaper.
Wine and beer bottles made into drinking glasses.
Plastic bags,computer consoles, packaging, juice cartons, banknotes, old maps even elephants dung made into all manner of things! The softest scarves made from pineapples.

Greeting cards are another line, the quirkier and funnier the better. One of our card suppliers has just received a prestigious international award for environmental best practice (even the cellophane packaging is compostable).

The toiletries we sell are all made from organic and natural products, are SLS, sulphate and paraben free. We have a large range of plant wax candles also paraben free.
Jewellery continues to be popular and we have a good selection, namely PILGRIM. Incidentally the original creators of Pilgrim used to be hippies (there is hope for us yet!).

To continue our ‘natural product’ based theme, we have a large selection of basket ware, for logs, for laundry, for anything! Round, square, rectangular, all manner of shapes from small to large, different materials and colours.
