Let battle commence as the towns chefs cook up their secret recipes to produce the perfect Cawl the traditional Welsh broth that has everyone declaring that theirs is the best recipe, handed down the generations. Is it as good as Mamgu (Grandma) used to make?
Who will bake the most moreish morsels in the Cake competition? Its up to you to decide! Will it be a wonderful Welsh cake, a gorgeous gateau, or a crazy cupcake?

Take a walk around town and sample the delights of our cafes, pubs and restaurants your £3 ticket (this voting sheet) covers one bite-size taster of the provided Cawl and/or cake for one person, in each of the participating eateries. Follow the map to find them, and dont forget your score for each Cawl or cake, so that you can vote for your favourite at the end of the day. Show this sheet at the eatery to receive your sample and mark off on the sheet to show youve visited that establishment. Its important you only take one sample at each place, to ensure everyone can enjoy the trail.
