Following engagements at Ucheldre Literary Society and Amlwch Writing Group, she travelled to London's South Bank in July to give a reading in the Royal Festival Hall as part of the London Literary Festival. Despite the grandeur of this occasion, she admits she is happiest discussing the process of writing with groups of committed practitioners. A former English teacher with several years' experience as an examiner for WJEC, she enjoys talking about her work with others for whom reading and writing are both a passion and a pleasure.

Set in Wales and London in the 1960s and '70s, The Dovecote, published by
Onlywomen Press, is an old-fashioned love story as well as a feminist novel, full of gentle humour and a keen sense of place and period.
