Living Willow Workshop at Abergavenny Castle

Workshops for all the community to enjoy

Museum Staff at Abergavenny Castle are working with ‘Out to Learn Willow’ to create an area of living willow structures in the castle grounds where children can participate in imaginative play and adults can relax and enjoy the grounds.

Members of the public are being invited to participate in the workshop and build structures for all the community to enjoy. The workshop will be run by ‘Out to Learn Willow’ and will take place at Abergavenny Castle on Sunday 17th March 10am– 4pm.

Groups and individuals of all ages are welcome. No experience necessary but remember to wear warm clothes and waterproofs and if you can bring your own spade that would be much appreciated. Drop in for as long as you are able, but remember to bring a packed lunch/flask if you intend to stay all day. No booking required.
