Maes Manor Hotel

The present house was built for Sir Captain Edmund Williams, an important local mine owner and High Sheriff of Monmouthshire, in 1890, whilst the history of the site, known as Maesrudded, (Translated means 'Fields and Freedom') can be traced back to 1434.

Situated in the heart of the Welsh Valleys, our elevated location set within 9 acres of private landscaped gardens provide splendid views over the surrounding countryside and a relaxing base for both the business and leisure visitors.

Since this time, the Hotel has seen extensive refurbishment and boasts the largest banqueting hall in South Wales.
