Usk Valley Apiaries

Usk Valley Apiaries is a newly set up business in 2009. We have various apiaries along the Usk Valley from Gilwern to Usk as well as around Monmouth.

The honey is produced by bees collecting nectar from the fields, hedgerows, gardens, wild-plants and farmers crops. The honey will have different tastes, textures and colours depending on the time of year and available forage for the bees to collect.

Spring honey may contain nectar from for example dandelion, hawthorn, clover and other spring flowering plants and fruit trees. Summer and autumn honey may contain nectar from blackberry, rosebay willow herb, lime and many others, possibly some plants from your own garden
