If you are feeling stressed, anxious or depressed, arteffact might be of interest. arteffact is a project run by four museums in North Wales - Bodelwyddan Castle, Llandudno Museum, Gwynedd Museum & Gallery Bangor and Oriel Ynys MÔn.
Arteffact how museums can improve your mental health!

We are working together to run arts workshops in relaxing and inspirational settings for people experiencing mental distress.
Arteffact is currently available from September to the end of January but our aim is to demonstrate the positive effects these kinds of activities can have on peoples health and secure more funding to extend the programme.
Arteffact who is it for?
It is specifically for people age 18 and over. People can sign up for a course of 10 workshops over 10 weeks led by an experienced artist. They will take place in museums and galleries, finding inspiration in art and historic artefacts. These workshops will aim to help you regain your confidence, enjoy developing new skills, relax, learn about art and meet other people whilst involved in a positive activity.
We are offering a supportive environment with small group sizes.
Absolutely no previous art experience is necessary.
