The Great Cross of Conbelin. What a title! This 10th-century monumental piece of masonry is an elaborate and extensively decorated disc-headed cross. The list of impressive stones goes on and on…The Cross of Einion…. The Cross of Grutne…each one a masterpiece in its own right. The museum exhibition can also take you back to the 6th century with a particularly ancient stone emorial which boasts both Latin and Irish ogam inscriptions.
