Ride & Hike

A pick-up and drop-off service for walkers and cyclists

Some of the most beautiful places in the Brecon Beacons National Park are often the most remote. Ride & Hike is a pick-up and drop-off service designed specifically to help you really explore the area whether you're walking or cycling.

A six-seater vehicle and six-bike trailer are available to take you to the starting point of your route. You don't need to worry about bus timetables, car parking charges or leaving your car in a remote place for hours on end. If you like, we can then arrange to pick you up at the end of the day as well.

Catch the bike bus from Brecon and cycle back along the Taff Trail. Bring your own bike or hire one in Brecon from Bikes & Hikes.
The bus leaves Brecon at 9.30am on Tuesdays for Blaen y Glyn, stopping at Pencelli, Talybont on Usk and Talybont Reservoir on the way. £7.50 per bike.
On Thursdays the bus leaves Brecon at 9.30am for Cefn Coed y Cymer for a longer ride back to Brecon. £10 per bike.
Space is limited, so call 07989 242550 to book your place.

If you're planning a longer trip, staying at several places along the way, we can also transfer your luggage for you.

If you don't want to walk or cycle, let us take you on a scenic drive. Just relax, sit back and enjoy the scenery. We can suggest several routes, each taking you through some of the National Park's most beautiful areas.

Ride & Hike is operated by Taxi Taxi. Based in Brecon, we offer a friendly, reliable taxi service for visitors and locals alike. Please call Taxi Taxi on 01874 625522. We can meet and greet at all UK airports and train stations and are happy to quote prices on request.

Give us a call on 07989 242550 for more details and prices, and we'll help you to make the most of your stay in the Brecon Beacons.
