Here at Wern Trekking and Riding centre we pride ourselves on offering that personal touch. We only take small groups so you get more time spent on indivdual client needs and under the supervision of qualified BHS instructor.

Situated at the edge of the beautiful Brecon Beacons near Crickhowell, Wern Trekking and Riding centre offer all abilities a riding experience whether your a seasoned rider or just fancy taking a stroll in the countryside on a horse instead of your own two feet!

We offer a number of rides dependent on your ability and confidence and taster sessions if you just fancy having a go.

TREKKING - A stroll through countryside, mainly walking, occasionally trotting. Ideal for first timers.

HACKING -For a more experience rider, over more challenging terrain including more trotting and cantering.

LESSONS - If you are just starting up or want to fine tune your riding on your own horse or one of our centre horses.

All treks include a demo to show you the basics and current approved safety hats are provided free of charge

Picnic rides
As well as a full days ride we can make it extra special by stopping for a picnic. Really push the boat out and bring a bottle and we'll have it ready and waiting for you at our favourite picnic spots

Horse B & B. We provide overnight accommodation for your horse, leaving you free to enjoy some of the areas fine accommodation and dining in the evening while we stable your horse overnight ready to join him in the morning to explore the fantastic countryside of Powys and Monmouthshire
