Art Courses in Wales

In Powys near Hay on Wye and the Brecon Beacons Niel Bally offers a choice of painting, printing and drawing courses from his studio set in the foot hills of the Black Mountains close to Talgarth.

The classes are suitable for all levels including beginners, those preparing for art school and the more experienced. Most of the courses are concerned with working directly from the life model, still life material and the surrounding landscape. The studio is very spacious , purpose built and full of light.

The house provides a relaxed environment and is secluded within a walled garden with fine views towards the Black Mountains and open countryside. The sitting room has art books and the days are punctuated by Sue Bally's refreshments and delicious home cooked lunches. All included in the £50 per day fee.
