The Moorings Lower - Flat

(Sleeps 9)

The Moorings Lower Flat self-catering apartment is located right next to the beach - the garden wall forms part of the sea wall. With breathtaking views this ground floor flat is located in the idyllic village of Cemaes Bay and provides an ideal base for exploring the fishing village, North Anglesey and beyond.

The setting of this property is really quite special with breathtaking views of the village, the harbour and out to sea from the kitchen, lounge and bedroom, whatever time of the year.

Cemaes is a small fishing village with narrow streets, a few shops and pubs and a hotel with bars and a bistro. It is located on the north coast of the island and is a good starting point for access to the Anglesey Coastal Path. There is a nature reserve at Cemlyn to the west and Church Bay further along the coast attracts many visitors.

At the eastern end of the village is a broad, flat, sandy beach which offers a great venue for sunbathing, swimming and water sports.

This apartment can sleep up to nine, book with the Top Flat to accommodate a group of up to fourteen.

The surrounding area

Cemaes Bay sits in the middle of the North Anglesey Coast. To the west is Cemlyn nature reserve which has been described as ‘the jewel in the crown’ of Anglesey’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Further along the A5025, Church Bay (Porth Swtan) has magnificent views, a curving beach and attractive cliffs, the Wavecrest Café and the oldest preserved cottage on Anglesey. To the east is Amlwch, an ancient port that became part of the ‘Copper Kingdom’ along with the nearby Parys Mountain.

The Anglesey Coastal Path extends right the way around the coastal perimeter of the island and any section that you choose to walk will reward you with spectacular sea views, fascinating historical features and great memories.

Visitor review

The accommodation was wonderful

'Hi All. Just a quick email to say thank you for an excellent service. The accommodation was wonderful and even beyond my expectations. The children were very well catered for with toys and dvd’s to use. I had taken cleaning things but they were all provided. We all had an excellent time and look forward to using your company again.

Many thanks Regards Stephen'
