Rhosneigr Area

The beach at Rhosneigr is a great favourite of ours, it’s huge and you can always find a quiet spot no matter how busy it is! Rhosneigr is a well-established water sport resort with its long sandy beaches that are exposed to westerly winds that provide perfect conditions for wind surfers, body boarders and kite surfers, or if you visit Anglesey between November and the end of March, why not try the latest fun craze of land yachting using an X-sail, a small three-wheeled land yacht, and see granny shrieking gleefully as she overtakes the grandkids!

Rhosneigr an ideal location for beginners and experts alike, with its surf shops, cafes and knowledgeable residents, happy to pass on their tips! There’s plenty to do in Rhosneigr, an 18-hole golf course and tennis courts are nearby, or for the more adventurous there’s the Anglesey Race Circuit at Ty Croes, an outstanding venue for amateurs and professional alike, whether your preference is for two or four wheels.

Miles of sandy beaches and a selection of great restaurants – The Oyster Catcher definitely has the wow factor with a stunning interior and great food, Mojo’s Creperie (the 10 pancake tower is to die for…), Y Morfa, excellent Thai restaurant above a pub! Or for a hearty breakfast and a great cup of coffee you must try Sullivans.

Visitor reviews

A comfy, spacious bungalow with a real homely feel to it

“A comfy, spacious bungalow with a real homely feel to it, Caradoc is definitely worth its 4 star rating. The fabulous views of the lake added to the attraction. Spent most of the time pottering round Rhosneigr and the girls enjoyed a surfing lesson on broad beach. We've had a thoroughly enjoyable holiday and would love to return to this bungalow.”

The Rainfords family, Manchester - 17th of August 2013.

Brilliant house

“Brilliant house, lovely views, very well stocked. Have been visiting Anglesey for 40 years since meeting at uni Bangor in 1972 and this is one of the best houses we've had. Many thanks.”

Fisher Family, Derby - 6th of July 2013.
