Bryn Melyn

Bryn Melyn is a detached holiday cottage which has been converted from part of the original 17th century farm buildings of 'Maeswalter' to accommodate 2 people.
The original stone work has been beautifully restored and also the walled parking area of the yard.

This cosy one bedroom cottage is all on one level and will sleep two people (double or as a twin) lounge with 'freesat t.v. dining and fitted kitchen area (electric hob, grill and oven combined). Electric toaster, kettle and microwave. All flavours of tea, coffee and sugar are provided.

The heating is under the stone floor so no radiators or night storage heaters. The cost of the fuel and lighting is included in the price. The views from the cottage extend from Fan Nedd to Mynydd Eppynt.
The bed linen (double or as a twin) is provided and made up for your arrival and also bath and hand towels are supplied. Soap, shower gel and toilet rolls are also in the bathroom.
There is also a utility adjacent to the cottage with washing machine and tumble dryer and two stands for drying. This room would also be ideal for storing luggage whilst staying at Bryn Melyn.

There are several Pubs in the area if you should wish to eat out. There are shops in Sennybridge and a Post Office. Nearest town is Brecon, 10 miles away.

Maeswalter is a 300 year old farmhouse situated in the mountainous Brecon Beacons National Park which divides naturally into three well-defined upland areas, the wild Black Mountain of the west, the gentler Black Mountains to the east and in the middle of South Wales the highest peak, the Brecon Beacons themselves.
