A warm Welsh welcome awaits our guests at WERNYFED, our Four Star rated accommodation, situated in the beautiful surroundings of the Usk Valley within the Brecon Beacons National Park. We offer a comfortable, quiet place for you to stay and relax whilst still being accessible to many of the local attractions in this unspoilt part of the country.

The accommodation is very private, set within a self contained annexe attached to the owner’s property. We offer a ground floor one twin bedded room with a private luxury shower/wc together with the sole use of a sitting/dining room offering glorious views where you can enjoy your breakfast. On a lovely day there is also the use of a terrace with table and chairs to sit back and admire the wonderful scenery. There is a private TV, radio together with WiFi internet facilities and a full hospitality tray for guests enjoyment.

Our full cooked Welsh breakfast is produced using locally sourced provisions where ever possible to start the day off well. We can offer vegetarian options upon request. There are also numerous country pubs offering evening meals within a short drive from the house, whilst Brecon town (7 miles away) has a theatre, cinema, museum and a sports centre with swimming pool together with various eating establishments.

Apart from the many walks around the area, some straight from the door, there is a wealth of things to do, from cruising the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal to cycling the Taff Trail, visiting the Cathedral in Brecon or exploring the many book shops in Hay on Way.
