Often chosen for honeymoons it is ideal for a couple or a special occasion, and has a cosily romantic feel with its four poster and woodburner- even a whirlpool bath. Perhaps due to the styling and position of the cottage Vanilla has become a popular choice for honeymoons, anniversaries and busy professional couples wanting to recharge and relax.

Vanilla adjoins two golf courses. In an elevated position above the banks of the River Usk, which offer super walking with your dog. We can arrange trout fishing (River Usk) and Salmon fishing (River Wye) in season.

Right on the Usk Valley Walk with riverbank stretches with excellent wildlife including otters, herons, buzzards and more...The National Cycle Route no. 42 passes within yards and cycle paths number 30 and 31 are nearby.

There is a riverside pub in walking distance.and a wide choice of good restaurants, pubs,from those with starry TV Chefs to a simple chippie within three miles. We have a hairdresser and a beautician who will provide pampering at the cottage. No need to stir!

The bright and warm sitting room with terrace view has a cosy woodburner, squishy leather suite, books and DVDs and a TV with a large flat screen.

Our compact modern kitchen will please the most demanding cook - fully fitted with all mod cons ( washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and split level cooker with extractor hood) plus of course all the necessary pots pans and utensils.

Our garden with furniture and suntrap terrace hedged with lavender is a delightful place to sit in the sun, Bring a disposable barbecue for our frame Particularly fabulous in snow! .
We have private off road parking for your car. .

A very full inventory including many extras ,and modern basics like WiFi double glazing , excellent insulation, go without saying. GOLF! Vanilla is ideally placed for golf, it adjoins Alice Springs courses and there are another 20 within an hours drive,.We can even help you to locate a caddy.
WALK! we are right on the Usk Valley Walk- come and see if you can spot otter or salmon.
