Gwynfan Cottage

Gwynfan has full central heating, double grazed windows and an open fire for those cold evenings in winter. But you can also enjoy the summer months with BBQ, patio, outdoor furniture within its own private garden and lawns, ample private parking for 3 cars.

Gwynfan had 3 bedrooms (2 double and one twin), beds made up on arrival, towels and hairdryer provided. Bedrooms all have builtin large wardrobes, fitted carpets, dressing table and bedside cabinets. (Cot is available)

Gwynfan has a large light lounge with reclining leather sofas seating for 6 people. Bay window has panoramic views over the Brecon Beacons and the Radnorshire hillside. Open fireplace for those extra cold evenings, plenty to read, watch or just relax in the peace and quiet of the countryside.

Kitchen and dinner has seating for 6 people + highchair. Fully equipped kitchen with electric cooker, ceramic hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board, micowave, fridge and deep freeze.

Gwynfan also has a large garage attached, which has ample space for bikes, wet wellies, dirty coats and an extra WC.

Gwynfan is situated in absolute peace. A great escape to the country - to relax and unwind.

Why not walk to the local village pub in Llanyre just 1 mile, easy access for bikes, prams and wheelchairs (already practiced by previous guests). There is also a play area in the village for your children and also a beautiful old church and churchyard.

Theres plenty to do for all ages, from Quackers Indoor Play Centre for the children or sight seeing for the adults. Gwynfan is a tranquil base for exploring the beautiful welsh countryside.

Gwynfan is only 3 miles from the Old Spa town of Llandrindod Wells, why not explore places of interest like the lake water sculpture or the museum or just enjoy the sports at the leisure centre, bowling club and golf club. Llandrindod Wells has many olde public houses offering excellent food any time of the day.

Gwynfan is only 6 miles from the Elan valley reserviors set in one of the most beautiful valleys of Mid Wales. You can enjoy the area by driving around the lake side roads or why not cycle, walk or even ride a horse.

We offer a welcome pack to all our guests however short or long your stay is. A bottle of wine, welsh cakes, flowers, tea, coffee, squash and milk is provided.
