We are a small family run business which is situated in a tranquil setting on the mountainside of the historic town of Merthyr Tydfil, within well-maintained, landscaped grounds of the owners’ residence.

Make no mistake when you book one of our lodges you will not be disappointed. All three of our lodges are self catering and all are non smoking. We provide the highest quality fixtures and fittings and all come with a stunning fitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom.

Winchfawr Lodge boasts breathtaking panoramic views of Merthyr Tydfil (including Cyfarthfa Castle) and the Brecon Beacons National Park. The bungalow-style chalet accommodation is accessed via a short uphill driveway and on-site parking facilities are available just 2 metres from the chalet.

There is new laundrette, washing machine, tumble dryer, & large drying room as a great place for drying those wet clothes after your activities. Also secure mountain bike storage shed with a power wash cleaning facility.

Mountainside Lodge

This stunning ground floor lodge offers full disabled access with wider internal space for wheelchairs. This modern lodge sleeps up to 4 with a double and a single room that includes luxury fitted wardrobes. The lodge boasts a stunning wet room and fully fitted self catering kitchen with all the amenities you expect from a 4 star property.

Beacons View Lodge

This lodge sits above the Mountainside Lodge and includes a balcony with simply stunning views over miles of rolling countryside that is the Brecon Beacons National Park. Enjoy the view with a glass of wine as you sit back on
the balcony and take it all in at your pleasure. This lodge sleeps 3 comfortably in one large family bedroom.

Transport links to Merthyr Tydfil Town Centre (which is only 5 - 10 minutes away) are situated at the entrance of the property and an onsite taxi service is also available. Free Wifi and Broadband are available and there is also an on-site laundry service.
