As for challenging golf there's no better place to test your driving skills than on the courses in the Snowdonia mountains and coast according to Ian Woosnam.

There are a variety of golf courses available from the well established links to parkland, and upland courses with the mountains of Snowdonia being the backdrop to many of them.

An 18 hole parkland course which was redesigned in 1981 resulting in major improvements in layout.

A nine hole mountain course, this is the highest golf club in Wales and has many natural features and hazards.

Players are passionate about the game, holidays can be made and ruined by it. Though some say “its a good walk spoilt”. We won’t comment on whether we think North Wales golfers are spoilt but whatever your level there is something for you. Try some of the courses and clubs and see what you think. Most do club hire and all do tuition.
