The chalet, Dinmor, is situated in tranquil surroundings in an area of outstanding natural beauty, rich in wildlife. Nestling against the deer park wall with fields around it, overlooking the sea in the distance, it is within walking distance of Penmon Priory, the lighthouse and Puffin Island. Penmon enjoys magnificent views, over the mountains of the Snowdonia National Park, the sea and surrounding countryside. It is a truly spectacular part of Anglesey and an ideal base for many holiday activities.

Kitchen

The spacious fully fitted kitchen is well equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, and toaster. There are fantastic sea views to be seen out the kitchen window. A hair dryer is kept in the kitchen dresser unit.

Lounge/ dining area

The comfortable lounge has two arm chairs to match the 2-seater sofa, a coffee table, a flame effect electric fire, and a 22 inch Flatscreen TV with built in Freeview and DVD player. Patio doors open onto a decking area with picnic table and chairs. This is a fantastic place to relax, unwind and admire the outstanding sea views.

The dining area also situated in the open lounge, contains a wooden dining table with 4 wooden chairs. Dinmor is heated throughout using electric panel heaters.

Bedroom 1

The cosy bedroom contains a double bed, built in wardrobe and two bedside drawers.

Bedroom 2

The twin bedroom contains two single beds, a bedside drawer and a built in wall wardrobe.

Bathroom

The bathroom contains a bath, toilet, wash hand basin and a shaver plugs. Towels are provided.

Entertainment

There is a 22 inch Flatscreen TV in the lounge with built in Freeview and a DVD player. Games can be found in the drawer of the dresser unit in the kitchen and a radio on top of the worktop.

Outside

The chalet is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Dinmor has the benefit of a large garden overlooking significant sea views as well as private parking. The decking area has a rectangular table and four plastic chairs, a perfect spot to read the morning papers.

Local Area information

The nearby town of Beaumaris lies on the banks of the Menai Strait and has an historic past. Its castle is a fine example of the defensive ring of castles which form the Castles and Town Walls of Edward I in Gwynedd World Heritage Site. The colourful town is also renowned for its festivals and events. It is a popular venue for sailing and yachting with an annual regatta being held in the summer.

Penmon Point is at the most eastern end of Anglesey, marked by an attractive lighthouse and good views of Puffin Island. The East Coast of Anglesey offers a number of extensive golden beaches all along the A5025 such as the Blue Flag Llanddona beach, a long and spacious jewel of a beach that forms the end of Red Wharf Bay, ideal for family fun, swimming, windsurfing, kite surfing and sea fishing. Red Wharf Bay, home to the famous Ship Inn which has a beer garden with views to die for, is situated between the villages of Benllech and Llanddona. The Bay is massive – 10 sq miles at low tide!

Nearby, Llanddona beach at the eastern end of Red Wharf Bay, offers five miles of perfect sand fringed by reeds and grasses in an unspoilt setting of green hills and white farmhouses. Popular for bathing, paddling, beach combing and being on the route of the Anglesey Coastal Path there are miles of walks available in all directions. Facilities at the beach include toilets, beach café, shop and disabled facilities.
