The Half Moon Inn

Real ales on tap, Bullmastiff S O B, three ciders and guest ales = drink and be merry!

The Half Moon Inn is close to the glorious Llanthony Abbey that has stood for 800 years deep in its valley in the Black Mountains.

The Half Moon offers bed and breakfast for singles, doubles or groups. There are six double rooms, three twin-bedded rooms, one single, and one family / group room sleeping four altogether.

The hotel has a large public lounge bar with a real open fire in winter and walking boot friendly natural flagstones on the floor. We have a good selection of beers, cider, lager and spirits. Bar meals are served most evenings from 7 till 9pm

The Inn is just the place for pony trekkers and walkers. We also offer pub food lunch or dinner menu and a small veggie menu. A great place to meet up at or walk from. It is unpretentious but friendly.

Whether touring this beautiful part of the Brecon Beacons National Park by car or bike, walking Offa's Dyke, pony trekking in the mountains, or just passing through, the Halfmoon Hotel in Llanthony offers a comfortable and friendly place to stay for the night or to just relax and enjoy a welcome refreshment.
