Hope Mountain Bed and Breakfast

4-star quality, fully non-smoking bed and breakfast, located on 1000ft above sea level on Hope Mountain on a quiet single track lane, opened in September 2007. Comfortable, spacious and relaxing rooms all en-suite offered by welcoming hosts Rob and Jo. Ideally placed for picturesque North Wales and historic Chester with excellent road links whether your visit is for business or pleasure. Give your horse a holiday too! We have a spacious lounge and breakfast room with individual tables with views from three sides of Hope Mountain where we serve a choice of breakfasts using local produce. Guests can relax in front of a real fire in the winter months.

The two Double and One Twin Guests rooms are all with En-Suite bathrooms, well equipped with remote control colour TV and DVD (small DVD library available), Tea, Coffee & beverage tray, Hair dryer. (We have a Z bed that can be used for a child in one of the rooms if requested.) Iron and ironing board is available on request.

Mountain Bikers are welcome to store bikes in our secure lock up facilities, Denbighshire Countryside Service has recently completed a website dedicated to mountain biking in the Clwydian Range area is a complete guide to everything you need to know to enjoy a mountain bike ride in the area, from downloadable maps and route cards, to bike shops, its all on the site at a click of a button.

We can give details of local pubs/restaurants, Taxi services and are happy to book for you or we can provide free local transport service by prior arrangement. We like to make our guests feel very welcome and are only too happy to help with any requests you have to make your stay with us as pleasant as possible.

Enjoy a warm welcome at our comfortable Bed and Breakfast you will be able to see your horse grazing from our lounge/breakfast room. All horse accommodation is on a DIY basis and at owner's risk. All horses must be wormed and vaccinations up to date. Outriding from the Bed and Breakfast is varied and consists of a good network of quiet lanes and bridleway with spectacular views.

The property is a spacious modern house built in 2002 by ourselves, the history of the property dates back to 1700. It was a former small holding with land all around the property. The outline of the original stone farm building can still be seen.

Our Bed and Breakfast offers walkers an excellent base for local walking. "Rural Walks in Flintshire" is an excellent walking guide produced by Flintshire Countryside Service which offers 25 different walks. Each walk is illustrated with a detailed map and enough information to find and follow the route.
