Paul and Heidi welcome you to their 4 star, Bed & Breakfast Accommodation at Oakfield B&B in Blaenavon.
Oakfield B&B, situated in the heart of the Blaenavon World Heritage Site, consists of two early 20th century bay fronted properties combined to provide ideal accommodation for those looking to explore the mountains and valleys of South Wales.

The property offers a twin en suite, a double en suite and a large family room large consisting of two twin bedded rooms. Can be used as a twin with one room closed off. This room has the benefit of a large private bathroom. (Single occupancy rates are negotiable).
All rooms are tastefully decorated with colour digital 22" flat screen LCD/DVD television with freeview, hairdryer, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Breakfast is served in the guests own dining room and for relaxing in there is a separate lounge for the sole use of guests with an open fire, colour television and a selection of books for use during your stay.
There is off road private parking for up to three cars. There is also a lockable garage for those looking for more secure parking for bicycles, canoes, paragliders, motor bikes etc.

For the comfort of all our guests Oakfield B&B is totally non-smoking.

Situated on the eastern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Blaenavon offers a great and varied insight into the beginning of the industrial revolution from coal mining to iron and steel making. Follow the Iron Mountain Trail as it winds its way through the industrial landscape surrounding the Blorenge Mountain down to the Brecon & Monmouthshire Canal.

Why not visit the National Mining Museum of Wales here in Blaenavon and travel 300ft underground to experience the daily life of a collier.
Also visit Blaenavon Ironworks as featured in the Coalhouse TV series to see the cottages as they were in 1927 & 1944.
