Georgie Meadows
Drawing with a sewing machine on fabrics I make images inspired by years of working with the elderly and infirm.
I have always felt the importance of how we interpret what we see when caring for people is a neglected subject. I try to use my images to practice looking in a more reflective manner to try and prevent categorising and assumptions. I hope to encourage empathy and inclusion as well as celebrate the courage of old people who find life a struggle.

Glass2Di4
I have always loved the clarity of glass and the effect of light passing through it. This is what has inspired me to create fused glass which I then slump into plates, bowls and plaques.
I started working with glass to complement my hectic career and found it fascinating and stimulating. My appreciation of the versatility of glass as a medium has developed as I have experimented with different processes.
