The Brecon Beacons is one of the most stunning parts of Wales. In such a relatively small area there is so much diversity of scenery, open countryside gives way to valleys, rivers, caves, forests and waterfalls.

The area also is home to some of the most historic and interesting towns and villages to be found anywhere, Hay-on-Wye (if you need a book), Crickhowell, Llandovery, Talgarth, Abergavenny and of course Brecon to mention just a sample. The area like Snowdonia is a natural playground and so you will be able to play in the Brecon Beacons to your hearts content.
