Ysgubor Hen Cottage is perfect for a break on the edge of the beautiful coast of West Wales, and an ideal base from which to explore and discover the delights of the stunning beaches, nature and wildlife of this unspoilt part of Wales.
From the doorstep, you can enjoy many beautiful and varied walks and, venturing slightly further afield, you can go fishing, hire a canoe or surfboard, cycle, go horse riding or mountain biking - as well as endless other activities.

Nestling on the border between the Pembrokeshire National Park and the county of Ceredigion, St Dogmaels site at the point where the long established Pembrokeshire Coastal Path joins with the newly opened Ceredigion Coastal Path and is a focal point for walkers wishing to travel up or down this wonderful coastline. The village itself is famous for its beautiful 12C Abbey, and is blessed with a village shop, post office, several pubs serving good quality food, and a fishf and chip shop.

The market town of Cardigan is only a mile away, on the opposite bank of the River Teifi, and is renouwned for having retained most of the attributes of a traditional Welsh town, proudly selling local quality produce of all kinds.

We have provided a selection of maps and local guide books for visitors to use. There is a pretty secluded garden with far reaching country views. The garden is totally enclosed and very safe for children, with a picnic bench/table.
